MTV Celebrates Its 28th Birthday by Remembering Michael Jackson

Did you happen to see the August 1, 2009 MTV anniversary celebration of it's birth? The music video pioneer channel is 28 years old this week. That's right, pretty scary, eh? It seems like just yesterday when music video s first came out. Remember when that video from the CARS starring Rick Ocasic was the coolest thing you had ever seen? To commemorate the occasion, this year the folks at MTV decided to run three all new Michael Jackson tribute shows to remember the artist and celebrate his helping contribute to the video Kings Pop star king platform for success. Certainly, the shows were a thriller, and you know they features sister Janet Jackson and the brothers of the Jackson 5 in retro clips looking back over the history of the famous celebrity family.
