Has anyone noticed that Locust_Star is literally the only person that doesn't use a real name when posting on the PS.Blog? What's that all about? If someone else uses a screen name when posting on the PS.Blog please, enlighten me. But I can't think of one other person who does that. It sort of screams unprofessional to me. Like, who is he that he needs to remain "anonymous"? Every post about Home always gets low ratings, with the exception of core updates, and no one (who posts about Home) uses their real name but Jack. No one in the gaming world takes Home seriously already but to use your fantasy name when making official posts about it isn't going to help its reputation any.

now i cant get into home period, first the freezing which led to the network issue, now im out 200 bucks. hey sony if ya want to tell me to gfy why not do it to my face.

i didnt really care about the dang prizes i was just going to a friend, i mean christ, its 1 thing to cause freezing, this is another thing, im not complaining about the effects, moreso the cause which in this case is home

the ac space is so laggy and freezy it reflected onto psn and now my ps3 sux. heres an idea sony, try making it so that 10 million ppl cant b in the same instance together causing lag, freezong, and crashing, instead why not try having so that only a few ppl can b in a space preventing that from happening, then maybe my ps3 wouldnt b i n its current butchered state, i am deeply enraged about this

and also the heart and soul of the ps3 is infamous and prototype

and i feel i owe a few things to the community due to my absense, but wat can i say, when its outta my power nothin can b done, but expect more posts, in the meantime, how many of you here report sexual harassment on home, say a noob kneeling behing a female avi. i say its time we all report that.

Wayward entrepreneurship in a down economy.

I heard the economy was bad in South Carolina (12.5% unemployment rate) and jobs were hard to come by. So I’m not surprised that people would start creating their own businesses. Supply and Demand is the American Way!!! You see something that people want and need and then you provide it. What is one of the easiest businesses to start without much overhead cost? It would be a business where you wouldn’t need to spend a lot of money to start. Well a 27 year old woman in Chesterfield, SC came up with the just that type of business. Gwendolyn Lowery only needed to spend money printing flyers because she had the rest of the equipment at her office home. Oh, she also needed money for Alcohol as well.

Lowery was an at home stripper. Because she worked from home she didn’t have to deal with traffic and office politics. So she saved on gas and inter-office headaches. Sounds smart so far right? Well I know some people might have an adverse reaction to stripping but it technically is a job. I don’t know the legal aspects of where you can and can’t strip but I don’t see what’s wrong with getting naked in your own home. I’m sure there is a nudist colony that is agreeing with me somewhere in the world. But before she could be awarded The BET Entrepreneur of the Year Award, she was arrested. So I guess you can’t strip in your home even if you have your own pole (I told you she had all her work tools). Actually she was taken down to the precinct because of her clientele. Apparently she was stripping in front of juveniles (one boy of record was at least 12 years old).

I know that someone is going to say “why are you making light of this situation?” Chesterfield, SC is right down the road from Charlotte, NC (my home base of operations) and of late South Carolina has been hurting economically. In that area crime has increased and college professors have had to take unpaid leave to keep their jobs. If this is the worst story coming out of the area, then I will take it. It beats hearing about the convenience clerk that was murdered in cold blood. While she was irresponsible in stripping for minors, I’m just not willing to recommend the electric chair. Yes it is the sexualization of a woman personified times 100 but remember no one forced her to do it. She made her own decision to set up shop at her house. Most 12 year olds would have gone along with the older kids too (not saying it’s right but it’s real). The older boys have some responsibility as well for attending this makeshift show. But are they going to send boys to jail for looking at a naked woman? We all know how America works. Lowery will take a public beating along with some stripper jokes thrown in.

She doesn’t look remorseful on her mug shot so she is making it hard for people to feel sorry for her. Maybe she needed the money or maybe she did it for pleasure. In the days to come, I guess we will find out why she did it. As for right now we do know one thing. Another South Carolinian is out of work.

Another case of Black on Black Crime was reported last week down in South Florida. Some dude named Corey Poitier, who is running to represent Florida’s 17th Congressional District, referred to President Obama as Buckwheat. I called him “some dude” because he doesn’t even have a website. I looked hard and long and I couldn’t find any electronic traces of one. All this cat has is a twitter address and a blog. I got a twitter address and a blog!?! How are you running for congress with no website game? How do you put an election banner on your blog and call yourself an official politician? He must have decided to run on some drunken bet by his boys. Poitier, an Economics Teacher in Dade County, was apparently ill prepared for a task of this magnitude. I checked out some tidbits from his platform (below) he is running on and I’ve got bad news for him.

Illegal Immigration: I believe that our immigration laws should be enforced and that there should be no amnesty for those who have entered this country illegally.


Global Warming: I do not believe in man-made Global Warming. I believe that the earth is alive and warms and cools itself at will.

Um……living in Florida he better change his stance on Illegal Immigration. He sounds like he doesn’t live near a large percentage of Latinos. I guess North Miami looks like Wyoming in the Spring? I need people that don’t believe in Global Warming to have some type of documentation (i.e. charts, graphs, figures, an Etch A Sketch…something that backs up your belief. I’m not biased but I saw Al Gore’s movie and he made a good case for Global Warming. Mr. Poitier just says it and it makes it so??

Poitier has his work cut out for him because Florida’s 17th Congressional District usually votes Democratic during Presidential Elections. Oh, did I forget to mention that Poitier is a Republican.

I understand that Poitier wants to look good for his team but swinging on Obama like that is a miscalculation on his part. It might help him at the Florida Republican Cook Out but from the Districts voting history it might not help him with votes. He needs to run as a Moderate Republican if he wants to be taken seriously. Why? Because the Republican’s are looking crazier than crack head’s ice skating. You have Senator John McCain needing Sarah Palin’s help to keep his job (oh how the mighty have fallen!!). Batman never needed Robin to keep his name “Hot” in the streets. You have David Frum getting the axe at his place of employment for speaking out of turn. And Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele is still talking loud and saying nothing. I thought the Republicans would eventually get tired of him and run him out of office but I guess they’ll wait until his tenure ends. The Republican’s problem is that the Far Right has got this political party by the throat and they won’t let up. It’s unfortunate because it means that we can’t have a spirited debate based on common sense. All we are left with is scare tactics and a bunch of red faced white folks calling black politicians names. And still no one can tell me what this behavior has to do with Healthcare?

So when I hear about Poitier getting in on the action by taking swipes at Obama, I can only hold my head in shame. It was worse when he tried to explain it away with something a 6th grader would say. Poitier of all people should know how rhetoric can whip people into doing callous acts. Let us not forget the assassinations of our former Presidents, Presidential Candidates and Civil Rights Leaders. When he calls Obama Buckwheat he is aligning himself with the same people that don’t acknowledge him as America’s leader. These are the same people that will possibly do anything to unseat him. Buckwheat, although a character in a children’s t.v. show, was a controversial figure. Buckwheat was originally a she and the character can only be physically described as a “pickaninny.” Old posters showing the black kids in the show accentuated their features by giving them big red lips. The blacks on the show say that they didn’t feel discriminated against so I have to take their word. And sure the episodes might be funny to some people but the imagery is still what it is. Regardless of what side you fall on, it was a poor decision by Poitier.

So with great dishonor and sadness I award Corey Poitier with the “Slave Catcher of the Month Award.” He has earned this for attempting to score points with people that call him “Buckwheat” when his back is turned. For this month I couldn’t think of a better recipient.

Author Nell Irvin Painter explores “The History of White People” and defines what whiteness means in America. If this book ends up keeping it real, the author can expect a lot of blow back. The Passing of Robert Culp

Robert Culp died Wednesday near his Hollywood Hills home, he was 79. Culp was an actor in television shows including “Trackdown” (1957 to 1959), “I Spy” (1965 to 1968) and my favorite “The Greatest American Hero” (1981 – 1983). I Spy was ground breaking for its time because it broke down racial barriers. It was a show about Spies that involved an “EQUAL” relationship between a black and white man. BTW - the other star of the series was a comedian by the name of Bill Cosby. Back in the mid to late 60’s it was a turbulent time in our nation regarding race. Culp could have easily said no to a shared billing with a black man. Instead of being a hater, Culp grew to have a great professional and personal relationship with Cosby. I personally enjoyed watching him act because he was a versatile actor. Whether it was comedy, drama or action he always did his thing. He will truly be missed.

Ok, so for the past couple of weeks (maybe even months) we've seen a lot of people asking us to make a forum where people can discuss things without fear of censorship and banishment, among other things. We hear you, we are watching and we see what everyone is saying. (here it comes..) But, right now, we aren't working on anything. When/If we start up a Home-Watch ran forum, we will most definitely announce it here first.

But recently, PygmyOperative has created his own forum called PSHomeBoards.

So we encourage you folks to head over there and make use of them. Right now it's pretty dead because there are only a few people over there, so hit the link above and go sign up, the more the better.

'Dancing With The Stars' : Shannen Doherty

Shannen Doherty known as an American actress and television director. Now she is participating in the TV show Dancing with the starts for season 10. She chosen Mark Ballas as her dancing patner.

They both are performed in Dancing with the stars but the performance was not perfect like Viennese Waltz, but they done very romantically and wowed audience before her father. Father of Shannen was very much excited.

Bruno Tonioli praised her for tackling such "difficult" choreography her first week out, although he also said she she was swinging around her arms "like a primate." Meanwhile Carrie Ann Inaba saw definite potential.

Know your MODs: shungokusatsu

I know what some of you are thinking, "what the fuck is this guys name?" followed by "why are you writing about this?" Well, for one, I am bored. And two, his name got brought up while talking to a friend and I remembered what his name really means. Pronounced 'Shun Goku Satsu (Sh-un Go-koo Sah-t-soo) it literally translates to, "Instant Hell Murder." Which is a finishing move of Goki aka Akuma from the Street Fighter series. Now, I'm not going to sit here and rag on this guy (to much) for his screen name because

1.) It's a cool name (better than Kapow, but it's original and I'll tell the story for anyone who wants to hear)

2.) I'm a big Street Fighter fan and

3.) I use Akuma often when playing Street Fighter.

But with that being said, he himself is not cool and from what I've seen and heard, him and his flunkies over at Lithium are all douche bags.

Anyways, I know a lot of you have trouble saying his name and didn't l know what it meant so I thought I'd share this info. with you guys.

Take and do with it what you want.

Oh! and it appears he's quite the gamer with 31 Platinum trophies...but as I was looking through his trophy list I came across 3 platinums which negate what I just said about him being a gamer:

-Hannah Montana: The Movie: The Game (.......riiiiiight. That also negates the cool factor of your screen name)

-Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs

But here are some fun things you could do:

Next time you get a warning or PM from him or even if he posts in a thread, immediately respond with some sarcastic remark about him murdering someone.

And then tell him to go play Hannah Montana, or, "When's the new Hannah Montana album drop?" or something like that.

I'm sure you guys can think of some other funny, stupid stuff to say or do.

Twitter and Facebook support for Home coming..some day

Sony has confirmed that it will soon be updating Playstation Home to allow you to update either your Facebook or Twitter account directly from Home, with status messaging relating to in-game Home material.

As reported from IGN, the updates will allow you to share your accomplishments on Home, with friends around the world on your other social media accounts.

For example, when you complete a mini game whilst in home, or play a game of chess with a pal for example, PS3 Home will be able to send an instant message to your Facebook or Twitter with a corresponding message.

No word on when this plugin will be available.

Can't say this is a bad thing, but I also can't say I want Home sending status updates to my Facebook or Twitter every time I watch a video, play pool, bowl, play Saucer Pop, etc.. Hopefully there will be different categories you can check saying, "Yes, send notification when doing ____" or, "when___happens" and vis versa. It would suck if turns out to be like how the PS Store works with Facebook, asking you if you want to send information to Facebook every-single-time you download something. If that's the case, I'll be leaving that option turned *Off* (hopefully we'll have that option and it won't be something forced upon us).

Hi,

Regarding the last two entries from the U.K. region, there is no doubt many of us are suffering throughout all regions of Home. Being from Australia, i have also been subject, along with many others i know of, and have witnessed first hand the wrath of the holy father NERO !

I`m not here to complain that i have been banned on occasions for doing no wrong, as i have glitched many times and been banned for it, although . . . the times i have done no wrong, my emails always refer to "glitch" as being the reason for my removal.

Along with many other issues i have faced, this particular incident revolves around the issue of "favouritism banning" and "cling on immunity" which i believe this site is becoming very popular in the EU region for recently.

Basically, yes, this occasion i was banned for glitching, as many do when there is a swarm trying to access a new location, which in effect makes it difficult to see what you are attempting when there is many there to restrict your vision. Because these things take time, many hours can be spent at the one location.

Noting the prescence of the holy father NERO, and his cronies who are beginning to become ever more frustrated with the amount of people gathering and hindering progress to the new location, midnight has passed in this time, and i am surprised to see i am denied access to the psn, along with some friends who were also present at the time.

Logging on with one of my other PS3`s several hours later, i am stunned to see the same group with the lord also present, though, minus the obvious people which are not included in the exclusive community circle of friends, which you come to learn in time who is and isn`t a part of the higher society.

Ofcorse most of these people were dressed in exclusive attire which went hand in hand with the short tempered and untastefull remarks to others to make way for their exclusive access to the location.

Seeing others being warped/teleported to other locations of the map was a clear sign to take a step back and observe or come back another time.

I could go on and on with both this occasion and/or many others which are witnessed by many time and time again, day in day out, BUT . . . . there is too many scenarios alrerady there for all to see which would be deemed unconcienable by most.

So . . . i end by saying more and more of us are now taking measures to record and aquire evidence of such circumstances and it`s only a matter of time before these gods of home slip up, AND WE ALL WILL BE HERE WAITING FOR YOU AND YOUR EXCUSES !!! GOOD LUCK !!!

Katherine Heigl almost showed too much cleavage in a red dress at ShoWest in Las Vegas.
The 27 Dresses star may be just one dress short as she experiences a wardrobe malfunction. At last night’s ShoWest Awards in Las Vegas, not only did her speech come undone, but so did her dress!

According to reports, Katherine accepted the award for “Female Star of the Year” at this year’s ShoWest awards. The ceremony’s host, Billy Bush, assisted Heigl in holding her strap to hold everything in place, as she embarrassingly accepted her award.

Bush tweeted via his Twitter page about the unfortunate highlight of the night, “Oh my. Hosting showest awards in LV. Heigl comes up to get award, dress strap breaks…I hold her top on while she accepts.” You handled her with care! I’m sure she feels very lucky to have had you by her side!

After accepting her award and finishing her shaken speech, Katherine was able to pin her dress backstage before stepping out for photographers with her award in hand.

Heigl will star in an upcoming movie called “Killer” that is set to hit the big-screen on June 4, 2010.

Th art of inkings;Th beauty within studs and rings.This is so chio.....Hi !Thursday was a bored.I forgot everything.Friday, woke at 12.20pm.Called Eunice up.Prepared thn took cab tuh her house, thn fetch her.Went over tuh IMH asap but we were 1hour late :PLOL!!!Cos we both woke late -.-This is quoted from her blog.I shall add on more details.

Accompanied beloved for her check up yesterday Friday . Skipped school . Afterward cabbed to pasirris inter fr her pri school class gathering . Waited fr Yee loke/Apple which he took quite long to reach . Location chged , didn't had to go pasirris park anymore , so stayed at Whitesands .Went foodcourt , Clare bought her food and i got disiao-ed by Apple lahs >;Some of their classmates arrived .Afterward beloved and i went to staircase there and something suay happened w/ th stupid security guard -_- quickly got out from there and went back .Then few more people came and went mac . Bored til sky drop .Left th place , one after another left , left beloved apple and me .Went staircase there blablabla then it was raining so we stayed there and chat alot lol .Was quite fun and funny at times , apple was really damn joker .It was my second time seeing him but first time talking to him .Then at around 7plus we wu xim so mrt him to Bedok . He was really a great joker . Laughs . Afterward , took back mrt from Bedok to Tamp .Then 293-ed back tgt w/ beloved and i alighted at my house area .
