On August 23rd, the Sodium Starter Pack for Home became available in the PSN store for $6.99. From the advertising posters seen in Home and in the PSN Store itself, I was pleased to see that it included the black version of the bartending outfits and specifically the Black and Grey Waitress Uniform (bundle)
Unfortunately, when purchasing the S1 Starter Pack this is NOT what you get -- instead I found these two incorrect clothing items added to my wardrobe collection, the "Sodium Scorpio's Pink Waitress Uniform Pack - female" (shirt with black arm tattoo, and skirt with pink leg warmers):
Since the ads clearly promised that we would get the "Sodium Scorpio's Black and Grey Waitress Uniform Pack," I would NEVER have bought this Starter bundle had I known that it actually contained the Pink version of the clothing. It would have been cheaper to simply buy the game together with the black uniform separately!
Well this Starter Pack is intended for new users to the Sodium games, which til now I hadn't really explored . So I tried on the pink outfit anyway, and let me say, while wearing it I wouldn't wish the instant bombardment of "How old are you" and "Where are you from" that I received, on ANY new user. The episode confirms my experience that Home users typically expend unwanted attention to the clothing worn by female users. Wearing a hot pink pre-teen outfit makes it twenty times worse.
Obviously the purpose of the bartending clothing is to enable playing the mini-game -- the point is not to invite additional harassment upon the player! -- so I'm sure that this isn't what Marketing intended when they put together this starter package for Sodium.
Please fix the Starter Pack download to give us the black-and-grey version that we paid for. Thanks.

Sodium Bug
Via email:Hi all, First off all congrats with your site, i come straight to the point. In home there is a space named sodium, there you can play or download (if you want the full game buy a pilotjacket (€4.99 5.99$ i guess). Now the problem is the saltshooter game has got a bug, when you want to upgrade your weapons etc. you get kicked out and you cant go anny further. This problem is there alrready for months, and they still didn fix it, i googled it and i even found a topic dated from august. (Home Watch note: Salt Shooter has only been around since December, the person writing is confused on the date) I see also people informing about the mather only thing they get is the answer back that they aware of it (meanwhile our wallet misses out bout 5€ or $ they bring out new items to buy.
I feel a bit bad for not bringing this up before, since this has been happening for a long time. Well, it has been corrected. This bug HAS been around for a long time. There have been numerous times I've come close to post and forgot. I have since corrected that.

Wow, More Failures than Usual!
Every time Home gives us the slightest glimpse of Hope... They crush it like a bug. But not any bug, one of those gross bugs that explodes and makes a crunching sound.
First there's this post about content refusing to be bought:
Every time i got to checkout at the lucusarts store I'm getting an error "this content cannot be selected at this time" Thanks. Glad I got up early
FAIL. I checked into it and got the same error. Please comment to let us know if you got it too. Next up, buying stuff and not receiving it, a Home Classic:
Do not buy the locoroco stuff because it does not appear after you have bought it.Ok, that was to the point, but did other people notice?
Are you asking a question? I wish people would right coherently on simple sentences.
Yes, the stuff do NOT show up after you buy them. What a jip. I just spent more than $12 for no reason. The information says that I get an instant download of the virtual stuff but I don't have it. Sony broke the contract with me. I did not agree to a "pay now receive maybe later" for the virtual stuff.
I'll take that as a yes, FAIL #2. Next, we have the lightsaber. Everyone wanted these so badly. Home provided. Think they did so without screwing it up?:
The Lightsaber is $5...
Thats outrageous
That's from Fail777! King and ruler of Failtopia. But is that the only issue? seems not:
I saw a girl with a lightsaber, it didnt even glow
Awesome, overpriced, non-glowing lightsaber. Even the Glow rods glow, why don't these? FAIL #3. Anything else? How about Sodium:
just as subject says i lost 4.99 in new store at mall. i was tryin 2 buy da animated emoticon love bundle and lost 4.99. I got an error, but dnt write it dwn srry. who do i contact to get refund. plz helpFAIL 4. And the day has barely started. This is going to be a fun update.

Wow, it's TECH SUPPORT!

The author of this post, sent in a tech support request to Lockwood asking why they weren't receiving their items. Well check this. Lockwood actually replies to their tech support! According to them:
Unfortunately this feature has been disabled for the moment and there's no eta on when or if this will be back. Although you can gift friends, you or your friends wont receive any items at the moment. Apologies for any inconvenience caused. Not totally the most appealing answer, I'm sure everyone wanted to hear "it'll be done soon!" But they actually took the time to reply to a support request. So in that aspect: KUDOS TO YOU LOCKWOOD.
Regards,
Luke Marshall

Home-Watch Exclusive: unseen Sodium one Materials!
This makes us feel warm and snuggly inside:
WOW. Thanks for the interesting images. I'm glad you came to us with this. Don't worry, your secret is safe with us. ;)
Hey Homewatch! I love what you guys are doing. I wanted to see if you would post something. PLEASE don't post my email address or name, I don't want to get in trouble or banned. Without too many details a friend of mine and I managed to get ahold of many of the resource files for Sodium One. Inside it are a bundle of things I haven't seen. I'm not sure if they are things to come, or if they are ideas they gave up on. These images were located in DDS files which are Microsoft DirectDraw Surface format. I converted them to PNG.
This is the first, it was named 1CFE1667-66634384-B2BA2247-EF4D88B3.dds as well as 5b3a58f5-df65-4cba-8225-d7d2759b60ae.dds. It looks like some type of watch.
Another interesting one. I found these in the resources, but there were three versions, male, female, and male without the male symbol.
Some weird watch thing
These images are listed as "achievement 1-5"
The following are named Gold, Silver, Copper, and Silicon. Obviously the resources you earn, except copper never makes an appearance.
Last is some type of hand with another hand with a bracelet in the background. No idea what it is.
WOW. Thanks for the interesting images. I'm glad you came to us with this. Don't worry, your secret is safe with us. ;)
Vetoxade discovered!
According to this forum post:Hello eveyone, just wanted to let yall know that a recent friend i've made in HOME and I have infact figured out the EXACT combination fo the evere elusive VETOXADE drink. I spent countless hours tending bar to figure this out and Mr. Surlebenniac had to keep taking cabs home then waking up w/ a serious hangover only to make his way back to Scorpions in search of an answer. Many thanks to ShadyKnot for all his hard work. Of course, there are countless people trying to attention whore and post it themselves (Such as home's official crybaby Fem_boi) but all credit goes to ShadyKnot. So all
these things we understand to be true by testing thru trial and error.First and foremost it has to be this exact combination:
Plus Sign Glass
Green Fluid
Circular Sodium Stirrer
Strawberry.
We also know that it doesnt matter what ure wearing, we origianlly thought you might need Sodium outfit and boots but thats knot the case. Also from our experiences you have to score at least 85% while drinking the drink to get it. Now since Surel made this revelation to the community it has been brought to our attention that it doesnt matter what you score, you still get it. We were also under the assumption you had to drink the drink on medium or hard but this also may knot be the case either. One more night of specifics shooting and we'll know the exact ins and outs.
