I understand what most of you are saying, and for the most part agree. I'm still using my D70s, and getting pics that still get compliments from people. On the other hand, I've been wanting a 70-200 for a while now. Not sure if this falls under the superfluous 'let's-buy-more-gear' mentality, or the 'i-want-to-try-new-type-of-vision' mentality.
What do you think?

Well. It was nice, for once, to see the Democrats win the bulk of the outstanding issues.
Of course, just around the corner are potentially even bigger arguments about the debt limit and the next budget.

YES YOU CAN OF COURSE, I did NOT used Bootcamp application to install my MacPro Under XP, just put the CD and go ;)
I didn't even have to install XP. I just took my boot drive out of my PC, and put it into slot 4 on the MP. System recognized the disk, and booted fine. After driver updates, XP works great!

Apple understands the marketing value of a popular term like Podcast, but there's a delicate balance between encouraging people to use it, and giving away your rights to it. I personally don't think Apple was out of line in this case.
But here you're implying that Apple has any rights at all to the word podcast, when it was clearly invented by someone else (Adam Curry, perhaps, though there is some debate; it was certainly not Apple Computer). How in the heck can they make a claim? It's not like they are called iPodcasts. That I could see being an infringement. Just how far are they intending to go with the word 'pod'?

So far the push notifications are working very well. However, the contact syncing actually deleted all of my contacts and replaced them with some contacts from facebook that were NOT even close to being correct. I'm not too happy about this at all. It ended up pushing these changes to my MobileMe cloud so I have basically lost all of my contacts. Way to go facebook!

You create a category automatically by adding pages to it. The editing of a category only works to add text or the category that category is contained within.

shoulda bought a macbook pro.
that said, for the money apple is charging, they could have definitely picked a low end dedicated graphics chip from ati or nvidia. shame on apple
Wasn't Quake 1 a software rendered game? In that case, the graphics processor has nothing to do with it. Even if it is OpenGL accelerated, the integrated graphics should have no problem on such an old game.
