You shouldn't add an extra release. Is this what you have?
Yes

We got T-shirts as we came in, so no purchase was necessary. I wonder what they do with the leftover T-shirts if a store doesn't use them all up?

But if I was on the same network as you, you very well might show up in the finder side bar account name and all. For people who file sharing is enabled this is a huge flaw.
Agreed. And even though file sharing may not be enabled my default, I'd venture a decent amount of people have had need to turn it on.

At this point im just frustrated. I changed the host file with this ip 74.208.105.171 gs.apple.com Then I followed all the steps and got 4.2.1 on. When I went to jailbreak, I got it into DFU mode but the jailbreak failed. Now I just want to update to 4.3 but I cant because I dont remember what I changed and replace with this 74.208.105.171 gs.apple.com. Anybody know the original text so I can update to 4.3?

i found this thread while looking for the solution to a similar situation. I too am looking for a phone with a QWERTY keyboard that does not require a data plan, but I also need a calendar that can sync with my mac computer. I don't care what calendar it is (google/ical/other) and and am willing to buy/download third party software, but am not sure about Bit Pim since fourm users' reviews seem mixed at best. I would like to stay with Verizon (cdma) if possible, but haven't found a phone on their network to fit my needs, so now I am open to any carrier. Any advice appreciated.
Well, I don't know about the calendar syncing, but the best Verizon feature phone is the LG enV3.

Nice shot, would be nice if there were less clouds around the mountain as it covers a lot of it up and is distracting. Plus would use just a very slight increase in vibrancy just to make the colours pop a bit more. also slightly increase contrast through Levels... again only a touch. that's only from my personal point of view though. Here's a slight adjustment for what it's worth.. http://img814.imageshack.us/img814/7536/editedu.jpg
That was the least amount of clouds all week. Typically the top is covered. I like the adjustment.
I haven't started using a photo editing program yet. I wanted to get a good handle on the photography first.

are you 100% sure about this?? just asking cuz there are times where i wanna charge my phone but its like 5 min before i wanna go to bed and dont wanna charge it for 8 hours . and its always rumored that leaving your charger on overnight will hurt the battery. thats the last thing i wanna do on an iphone since the battery is non removable
Yep, basically every Apple product does this.
Thanks, if you don't mind, I do have one last question. I have been trying to figure out if when I turn my phone off all the way, will it charge so I have turned it on and off a few times. Is this in any way bad for my battery or phone? Thanks :D
Confused. Turning the phone off and on again?

Just seen this on the bay - the guy won't ship to the UK (and ignored my e-mail asking if he would), so no use to me. However, this one looks like a prototype, so you other collectors might be interested.
It has apple stickers on the back (maybe just asset tags), but if you look at the photo of the sub, it's definitely a Bose prototype that was sent to apple.

Did you try googling the obvious: palindrome python program
One of the top 10 hits is this:
http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=861800
nstead this sounds like an academic assignment/exercise/what-have-you.
A quick suggestion OP : If this is homework, do not try "googling the obvious" and especially do not copy/paste code from the top 10 hits. If it was that easy to find, your teacher already found it also and will fail you with good reason when you try to turn in "Internet" code.

You can upgrade the RAM to a maximum of 1.5 GB on later 12" PBs and 1.25 GB on earlier ones, using a 1 GB PC2700 RAM stick.
The hard drive can also be upgraded to (I think) any capacity IDE/P-ATA 2.5" laptop drive.
I don't know of any processor upgrades; you might check Sonnet's website to see if they have any.
Also, video editing and encoding on a G4 is not quite what I'd call "less intensive" use--it can do it, but it'll be slow.
And depending on the processor, Leopard will be OK--the faster the CPU, the better. Leopard on a 867 MHz G4 12" could be painful, though . . .
What a shame that the late iBooks maxed out at 1.5gb of memory but the 12" Powerbooks maxed to 1.25gb :(.
The largest capacity for IDE/ATA 2.5" hard drives are the Western Digital 320gb 5,400 rpm drive. They do make SSDs for the older format but they are more costly than the SATA drives.
The CPU/GPU are not upgradable unfortunately as they are soldered. Can't really upgrade the motherboard unless you are replacing it with the same one or replace them from the same model #, you can upgrade a 1.33ghz > 1.5ghz motherboard.
Any of this cost effective, no. But if you want a decent little living room laptop, they are great little devices. I'd also consider a last-gen 12"-14" iBook G4.
Also note, the 12" Powerbook is also the worst laptop to work on if you need to replace anything. Just try upgrading the optical drive :p

A CDN isn't a web host or a cloud provider. It's a distributed network of computers that push-out content to the "edges" of the Internet, closer to users. It's appropriate for large web sites with large geographic appeal which also have a need for low-latency deliver of content to users.
Amazon does have a CDN product, but it's not included in the base S3 offering. S3 offers storage services in ONE of Amazon's data centers, but doesn't push-out content across their world-wide network.
To my knowledge, the other solutions offered aren't CDNs and don't offer a CDN product.
Let's see, VPS offers origin pull caching on a few dozen locations around the world, including over a dozen in the US.
Surely that's not a CDN.
Agreed. The Amazon product you'd be looking at is "CloudFront", not "S3".
And Rackspace does offer a CDN now, but it's actually using Akamai for the CDN functionality. Akamai is the big corporate CDN player I've used. It's pricy, though.
http://www.akamai.com/
Yes, Rackspace says it uses Akamai. So why shouldn't you use Akamai? Hint: Just try to find prices on Akamai. It's not for small companies.
Also, even if you select amazon cloudfront, you'll still get a price by region quote tool.

No, Apple Hardware should be its own category. Why should I have to tunnel down through Hardware --> Apple Hardware, just to get to Mac computers, on a site called "Mac Guides"?
But this all raises a much larger question. Is it so bad to have a lot of categories? Since every post can be associated with multiple categories, does it really matter? For example, I could associate iBook G4 with Apple Hardware, Apple Laptops, and iBooks. I could put iPhoto in both Apple Software and Prosumer Software.

It could, but it doesn't have that much space. I would hook it up to an external raid array.
I would recommend a Drobo S. (http://www.drobo.com/products/drobo-s.php)
It is not cheep, but I have 9 gigs of drives in it, 6 available. Great product, keeps your data safe, it's fast, and easily expandable.
I see you got FCP in your sig, i use Premiere CS5 and Photoshop you suggest the drobo would be good stuff like that? I have checked out the drobo before, they do look good. I just need something i can remote into and control when im away kick off downloads etc...as the server will be headless (no monitor)
