No Menu Pad

It seems some users are suffering from more mystery bugs on Home. This round it seems to be a bug that won't let the menu come up when the user presses start. As per most mystery bugs it affects some people and not others. Here's a topic about it:

Can some please help me with this problem? Whenever I press the start button the menu pad doesnt show up. My start button isnt broken since I can pause other games. I had this problem since I got my PS3.
