farewell sweet tooth
i was browsing our local news today and found out this one in MSN
Malaysia may end up sugar subsidy to curb Malaysian from getting too much sugar in their food.
Apparently, the obesity percentage among Malaysians has rise from 16 percent to 29 percent in 10 years
*I don't blame the obese people, but serve you right now one glass of teh tarik will cost you RM3.00...
if the government did end up this subsidy, sugar price will rise about 70 percent than it's current price, currently a kilogram of sugar costs RM1.45 and without subsidy it'll cost RM2.45 per kilo
On the bright side, we could see decline in diabetes and obesity cases and the government can saves up to RM720 million slashing the sugar subsidy...
my advice, stock up !!!
