lying liars loosely lying lately starring Rudy Giuliani.

Here we go again!!! Rudolph Giuliani is telling a whopper of a story in this sham of an interview. Where is Jon Stewart when you need him? Little Man George Stephanopoulos came up short on this one. I still don’t know why he gets all these prime interview gigs? This joker’s claim to fame comes from writing books about his life with President Clinton. It seems a quick way to fame is to write a book about Clinton. Gennifer Flowers should have been writing notes instead of giving Clinton felatio. Stephanopoulos should have done his due diligence and called Giuliani out for blatantly lying. How can Giuliani say “we had no domestic attacks under Bush; we’ve had one under Obama”? September 11, 2001 happened while President Bush was in office. Hell, Giuliani made such a big deal about it while running for president in 2008. He said his handling of the aftermath showed true leadership and poise under pressure. I wish people could speak for themselves without repeating the tired party script. Can you imagine if this clown won the Presidency? We would have a Cross Dressing Liar as President and a Jump-Off as 1st Lady.

Snake Oil Salesman Watch – Millennium Travel & Promotions

Millennium Travel & Promotions Inc
4647 S. Clyde Morris Blvd Suite #501
Port Orange, Florida 32129

Be on the lookout for this Company!!!!

Grand Discovery, an entity of Millennium Travel and Promotions, invited me to attend a presentation they had regarding timeshares this past spring. I took my wife with me (who is allergic to sales pitches) to attend the presentation. She was already pissed off about going because (she is allergic to sales pitches) it was Friday after work and she was hungry. I thought the presentation was good but my wife was even more pissed off (her sales pitch allergies were acting up). The salesman brought his boss over to help him seal the deal. If he knew who my wife was, he would have realized that was a waste of time. The salesman’s boss made a joke that my wife thought was sexist. I guess it didn’t help that I laughed at the joke too. I guess marriage jokes aren’t for hungry wives with salesmen allergies. After the presentation, we decided that financially this would not be wise for us. We told the salesman that we would have to decline and he looked piss. He didn’t even say goodbye or shake our hands. It’s like being in a strip club without having any bills in your pocket. Eventually the strippers are going to stop asking you if you want a lap dance. I guess you are wondering why I attended a timeshare presentation when I knew I wasn’t going to buy a timeshare. Because they provided an incentive for me to go!!! Just for sitting through the presentation I was suppose to receive –

*2 roundtrip airfares anywhere in the Continental U.S.

*3 days and 2 night’s hotel accommodations for 2 adults.

*$150.00 in Gasoline rebate coupons.

*$30.00 in Dinner certificate good at any Olive Garden, Red Lobster, Smokey Bones or Bahama Breeze.

I thought I was going to leave with what I like to call the “Freeness” (aka Free Stuff). When people go to these presentations they usually end up with a gift. My Frat Brother received a Knife Set from one of these presentations. My parents have a grandfather clock because they attended a presentation. I know knives and a clock don’t sound sexy but roundtrip airline tickets do. But I should have known things were going to go downhill when I didn’t receive some of the “Freeness.” The first thing that was denied to me -

*No Gas coupon or Dinner certificate… : (

I was still holding out hope for the roundtrip airfare because I had it in writing (so I thought). All these cousins I have that are lawyers and I never called them. I should have because things got real shady when I wanted my airline tickets. To make a long story short –

They started making us jump through all these hoops in order to get the tickets. They kept returning our paperwork requesting that we change information. They would wait for months to request alternative documentation from us. And they would turn down all of our selected days. It finally got to where we were on our last possible date. Our last date selected was in April 2010. I didn’t want to wait that long to be turned down with some bogus excuse. So I called the company (one of many numerous phone calls) to talk to their customer service. She gave me some line that they were going to honor the last date. They only gave me 3 dates to choose from and I was down to one.

But I wasn’t the only one that was suspicious about Millennium Travel. The Better Business Bureau of Central Florida gave the company an F on their rating scale. Also the Attorney General’s office of Connecticut has a lawsuit against the company. Apparently they had found a way to weasel out of their own promises. Some folks were losing loot in the scam and the authorities in Connecticut didn’t like that. Others were disappointed in the timeshares they actually paid for. Everybody was getting suckered or screwed.

I swallowed my pride and told Millennium to forgo the last date and to give me my deposit back. After months of dealing with that company, it took them less than a week to give me my money back. I guess they were glad they didn’t have to come up with an excuse for why I couldn’t get my last date. I was glad our deposit was chump change and we didn’t lose major money like other folks. So I’m telling you this story because I want to spread the word. I’m not doing this because I’m disgruntled or attempting to get revenge. Businesses pretending to be legit while harboring ulterior motives need to be put on notice. I have a wife that is smart enough to not let me get to far gone. Other people might not have the same buffers in their lives. Some people actual went on the trips and ended up paying hidden fees. We were fortunate that it never got that far.

Bob Johnson, you low down dirty conniving scoundrel snake in the grass….the next time you screw Charlotte make sure you wear a condom!!!

I knew this was going to happen. I didn’t need psychic abilities to see this coming. The only good thing about Bob Johnson is that he is consistent. He consistently tries to sell businesses to make money or to keep from losing money. Yes, that’s right folks……The Charlotte Bobcats are up for sale. Johnson has said “He's lost passion” for owning a professional team. Lost His Passion!!!! Does he think this is a marriage? Oh I forgot, this “soulless “troll is already divorced. But wait….because it gets worse. Michael Jordan could possibly be interested in buying the team. This is the same Michael Jordan that was fired from the Washington Wizards. His job title with the Washington Wizards: President of Basketball Operations.

Commissioner David “Little Man” Stern decided he would be on the right side of history with Bob Johnson. He would name Bob Johnson owner of a new NBA franchise and all would be right with the world. Former Attorney General Alberto Gonzales and Bob Johnson are tied for the worst Affirmative Action Hires Ever. Charlotte just got through running the last NBA owner out of town. When was the last time a rich White Man left town kicking dust? And no, Bernard Madoff doesn’t count. Stern, Elected Officials and Johnson conspired to provide Charlotte an NBA basketball team come hell or high water. This man lied to the city of Charlotte. He told us all the things we wanted to hear and even played the part. He was like a guy trying to get some play on prom night. I saw through him but like the financial crisis no one would listen (Yes I’m talking about you Citizen Wifey – sorry honey!!).

So here we are:

1) A basketball team with no legitimate star.
2) A broke down basketball player who only has 4 years in the league (yes I’m talking about you Sean May!!!).
3) An owner that would sell his own heart if he thought he could make a buck.
4) A brand new arena with overpriced tickets.
5) A former superstar part owner with questionable prior management experience.

And we are stuck with a team that has a corny name. The Bobcats??? My 3 year-old God-daughter could have given them a better name. Now we have to be reminded of Bob Johnson for the rest of our lives or until the team finally leaves town. They might be under contract to stay in Charlotte but one day they will bounce. History has a funny habit of repeating itself. I wish we could run Bob Johnson out of town but we can’t. Why? He doesn’t live here full time.

The Republicans’ French Twist

I remember not long ago when Republicans didn’t like France. Back in the day, the French disagreed with our involvement in the War on Iraq. You remember the War on Iraq….Weapons of Mass Destruction…Saddam Hussein was worst than 10 African Dictators put together…yada yada yada. Republican representative Bob Ney, wanted to send a message of America’s displeasure to France. The message was going to be symbolic of America’s commitment to the War. Rep. Ney wanted to change French Toast into Freedom Toast. It still sounds ignorant talking about it years later. Back then people were easily duped and believed anything the Government told them. Oh my bad…………that still hasn’t changed. This dumbness started a wave of French Banning all over America. I’m just glad they didn’t get rid of women wearing French Maid Outfits (I do have a social life outside of blogging).

Oh what a difference 6 years and a Black President makes. The Republicans will try anything to get back into the game. Senator Lamar Alexander wants to follow in France’s footsteps and use nuclear power for energy. Sen. Alexander talked about renewable energy on this week’s Republican Weekly Radio and Internet Address (they have internet? why didn’t John McCain know about this during his campaign???). He said that we should build more nuclear plants rather than spending money on “subsidies” for renewable energy. The amount of power plants he wants to build: 100!!!!!!!

So it’s cheaper to build brand new power plants than install solar panels on existing homes? I liked it better when they were trying to change French Fries to Freedom Fries. At least that change was cheap and easy.

Governor Rod Blagojevich, keeping it Black but not keeping it real.

Gov. Blagojevich played Houdini and pulled a switcheroo on us. He is using an old trick by pitting white against black. Blago, you might have black folks in Chicago fooled but I know what you are doing. You were caught on tape trying to sell Obama’s Senate seat. Now you are concerned with giving it to another “Black” person??? Yeah Right!!!

Black folks, you better watch for the hook……………….
