18 year old Caster Semenya ran 55.45 seconds in the 800 meters at the world championships. Congratulations to the South African for beating defending champion Janeth Jepkosgei of Kenya…..oh….um….wait a minute. My bad!! I can’t give her props yet. The World Track and Field Federation is requesting Caster take a gender test. International Association of Athletics Federations spokesperson Nick Davies said “this is done on a case by case basis.”
I don’t know how this test works but can’t they save money by having her take off her clothes? I guess the Adams Apple test is out!!! I hope that everything works out for Caster. I think it’s messed up that a woman can’t succeed without being accused of cheating. But if it turns out that she is a he - well the joke is on Track and Field. Hopefully she will get her reputation back but in the meantime can the IAAF please check Ann Coulter.
