My early scepticism about this movie is triggered by a review which I've read before watching this movie but there's always gonna be two sides for each story, after doing my research I've found out that I shouldn't say that this movie is bad without even watching it at the first place. Burlesque opened 3 days after Valentine, so here's 5 reasons why you should be excited about this movie.

#1 Power Cast
Christina Aguilera’s performance is actually better than expected (Cher actually made Aguilera burst into tear to get her in character). Besides Cher, other actors include Stanley Tucci (Bald dude from ‘Prada’), Eric Dane aka McSteamy, Kristen Bell (don’t tell me you don’t know her) and Cam Gigandget (James from Twilight).
#2 Simply Entertaining
By simple I meant the story line is simple and not as twisted as, let’s say ‘Black Swan’ and not as complicated as ‘Inception’. It’s pure entertainment ! Watch it if you like movies like Dreamgirls, Coyote Ugly or High School Musical, perhaps…
#3 It’s freaking musical ! ! !
Who doesn’t love musical these days. if it is musical, It won’t go wrong right… right ?
#4 ‘Globes’
Ehem… not that globes ! !
Burlesque won a Golden Globe Award for best original song which is “You Haven’t See The Last of Me” sung by Cher. This movie must be good because it won an award.
#5 Infamous Famous Amos Scene
This scene involved the Famous Amos cookie and certain, certain anatomy of human.
One of the most talked about scene in Burlesque but it will definitely get cut in our cinema.
