The original poster said that she was "laid off". So the question of her sponsoring company paying her does not arise. And hence she is without a job and she knows it. On this basis I said that it would be considered fraud if she goes for H1B stamping.

If 3600 have been approved, then between 7200 and 9000 numbers have already been consumed based on an average of 2 or 2.5. Take your pick. We have only completed 4 business days in August. At this rate we'll blow through the 20,000 numbers in less than ten days. That means EB2 becomes U in Sept and it makes 2006 approvals look even more egregious.

Don�t worry, they will send you receipt notice within few days. I efiled on 05/19/08, receipt was generated on same day from TSC and I received on 05/23/08.

I went through the same ordeal about a year and a half ago. After unsuccessful attempts to buy it on my own through internet companies, I went to a good agent who got me a 20 year term life policy with a AAA rated company for about $220/year for a 500,000 coverage. Basically, I got the same rate an US citizen would get. I would advise you to go through an agent, they can do multiple quote and many are knowledgeable about H1 visas and the best thing is you don't pay any thing extra because the agents get their commission from the insurance companies. I got promoted to Manager but my GC is applied for a Consultant 2 position (Developer Job Description). My Lawyers do not think it is an issue since it has been more than 6 months of my 485 application.

AC21 letter can be sent to USCIS, but as everyone says its not a must.
AC21 letter is a MUST if I-140 was revoked by the previous employer. There are cases where USCIS had mistakenly denied I-485's with revoked I-140's in spite of submitting AC21 papers.
In such situations, the only life saver in MTR (Motion to Re-appeal) is the proof of submitting AC21 papers on time.

Another consulting company may very well hold your H1B, but you will have to be working through them. You cannot sit on bench and they "hold" your visa. I will suggest transferring your visa ASAP to another company.
You can very well go to H4 and again go to H1B under new quota, but why take the risk? If you are not selected in lottery, you again have to wait until next year.
Get your H1 transferred and find a job agressively.

You will not get new H1. Your remaining time on H1 will be extended once you decide to do COS from H4 to H1. If you were out of country for one full year ony then you will get NEW H1 and then the new fee hike applies to you.
But if you were not out of country for one year then you will get the same H1 extended for the remainder period (6 years minus what ever you have used so far). The new fee hike applies to new H1 applications only.

Do not get panic, there is no hard and fast rule that they will ask for RFE in ur case. Say if they come up with RFE they will ask ur employer to support with financial status as 140 is employer based, some time they approve ur 140 with out any hassle, so best of luck. Keep ur fingures crossed.

My PD is nov 2003 and now I am planing to port my EB3 to EB2.
I need to know the process to do it.
My previous EB3 is with my old employer.
My I-140 approved from my old Employer and applied I-485 in july 2007 and
later in may 2008 I moved to my current company using AC21 and I applied for H1b also.
now I working 6th year on H1B.
And Here are the questions, if I file new labor have:
1). how long will it take to approve?
and once labor approved, for I-140
1). Am I eligible for premium process of I-140.

If we start out by strictly looking at NEW equipment, and base body+lens price of less than $1000:
- Canon
EOS Rebel XT: $880
- Konica Minolta
Maxxum 5D: $700
- Nikon
D50: $650
- Olympus
E-volt 300: $650
E-volt 500: $720
E-1: $940
- Pentax
*ist DL: $750
Prices from B&H Photo - www.bhphotovideo.com - there may well be better offers available, but the local camera shop probably wants a few dollars more... Which may or may not be worth it, depending on whether you value the fact that you can go to the local store for help and advice or prefer e-mail and phone help if something goes wrong...
All of these have their own pro's and con's. If you want a good selection of lenses and other "extras", the Canon will be first, Nikon second, Konica Minolta in third, a fair bit behind, and everything else sharing a pretty far behind fourth place. This, of course, may not be an issue - if all you want is two or three (or one) generic lens and a basic flash you'll be fine with any choice.
The pixel count is 8MP for Canon and Olympus, whilst the others have 6MP. Again, this may or may not be important for you.
As to "which is best", it's VERY MUCH a personal preference - and a case of which features are important to you as a photographer.
I didn't list the ones that are a little more than $1000 - you get quite a few more to choose from if you go to $1200 or so - and with faster action and bigger buffer (for those action sequences).
As Puncher mentioned, used digital cameras are an option - you can get one that is a year or two old, which has much higher spec than the new ones for the same money.
Without some further discussion on what's important to you, it's not an easy choice.

You can just drag and drop the icon you want into Blend or explicitly add it via the Projects panel :)
Your question on connecting to an XML data source is interesting because there are several ways of doing this. One approach is by using Linq and just parsing the output.

I�m mostly using Expression Blend to create these apps.
The first thing I would like to know is:
* How do I use a wp7 icon (from the icon pack) as a clickable button? I have an input search TextBox, but instead of using a simple button control (for the click event) I would like to use the magnifying glass icon as the search button --something similar to how Bing (on WP7) uses the mic in the search box. How can I accomplish this?

When did they receive GC approval? Is it recent or 1-2 years ago?
Both cases, more than 2 years ago. Do not know anyone who got this recently. One reason is most of us filed in during VB Gate, and most of us are still waiting for any action from CIS.

Hi,
My wife's EAD card returned back and message showing , card returned by Postal, undeliverable and need response by 180 days with update the address, yesterday's message.
Actually she got her FP and EAD notice receipt number to the same address, but card returned back.
But in this case I saw 20days back, card production ordered and sent the notice. And I am waiting for the card to be delivered and 30days to wait to ask customer service.
Request:
Can you please let me know , how to reach customer service representative with options type?.
This happens from time to time dont know why but it happens.It happened for my wife too , we had efiled for EAD and her application status showed that notice(FP) returned as undeliverable. My wife wrote back to USCIS
saying that she had received all her prior communication from USCIS here
(for example we put in copies of 485 recipt notice,485 FP notice,EAD recipt notice) and it seems to a mistake of USPS. She also wrote to the Local Postmaster as to why the notice from USCIS was returned and in future all this should not reoccur. Within a day or two we got her EAD approved and recieved it in mail.
The point I am trying to make is that calling(it might not be the best option as lines are busy,reps dont have the info you would like etc) as well as writing does help when u know the where to send mail , we were lucky as we had efiled so it does specify where to send the application and docs .Good Luck.
